There will be good career scope and job opportunities for the candidates after completion of BCA course but the thing is that it would be better to do MCA course after completion of BCA course. The reason why I am suggesting like this is, many of the companies are hiring the candidates who have completed the following courses B.Tech MCA Of course, there are openings for the candidates who have completed BCA course but not huge. Hence, it may take time for you to get the job opportunity and sometimes you may not be placed in MNCs. Here is the list of top IT companies in India in which you can try for job opportunities TCS INFOSYS WIPRO ORACLE SYNTEL MICROSOFT etc. Try to have good subject knowledge and languages like C, Java etc. Wish you all the best. |

Dear BCA Stands for Bachelor in computer application. It is a 3 year degree course in the field o f computer and after that you can join courses like MCA or MBA. The field is very lucrative due to the increasing demand of IT sector in India. Now a days everything is going online and that is why if you go for the course then you can take benefit from immense job available in the market and make your career graph reach to some newer heights Subject in BCA are :- 1. Digital computer Fundamanetal 2. COBOL (Language) 3. Mathematics 4.System analysis and design 5. relational DBMS 6. C language 7. C++ and accounting 8. E-commerce 9. Operating systems 10. Re: What is BCA course and opportunities available for it? sir, i Mr. Srijan Roy wanted to know that what are the opportunities i shall get if i do bca then doing bsc. Actually i had given 1 year drop after completion of my 10+2, so till now i couldn't be able to decide what is better for me. Last year i have tried AIEEE,but this year i didn't submitted the form and moreover i doesn't have any interest for enginerering. I belong from a middle class family and my father doesn't have huge money to spend it over me. According to him, he wants me to study bsc, but sir, dropping 1 year and then doing bsc is to awkward for me, and moreover i have heard that professional courses are much easier and better than general course. my main question to you is that 1:Is bca equivalent to bsc in terms graduation????? 2:If i do bca then could i be able to appear in govt. and private banks exam????? 3:should i go for bca entrance exam???? because i have think my father financial conditions.... 4:after doing bca if my father financial condition will then should i stop or should i must go for bca for my promotion... i really have many confusion in mind so i really need your help and again i am saying that i want to do bca but my parents forcing me to do bsc......... I m really in tension what to do??? and finally i want some entrance exam name for studying bca along with their submissionb date????????????? |

Most of the colleges need either maths or computer as one of the subjects in 12th and also english as a compulsory subject. Some colleges conducts their own entrance exam while some seeks admission on the basis of merit. Fee structure: The fee structure for BCA varies from college to college. If you want to do it from a private college then the 3 year course will take 1,50,000 approx. and if you want to do it from a govt. college, then the total fee structure for 3 years will be around 75,000. Career/jobs after BCA: After BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application), you can apply for companies like IBM, Infosys, HCL, Wipro, CTS....etc. These companies recruit a large no. of BCA graduates because there is a demand of software expert in these companies. But the salary that would be given is 12,000 to 15,000 for a fresher. You can also try for Bank jobs where the starting salary would be 14,000 for the post of PO(Probationary Officer). So it is advisable to do a higher course after BCA. Higher studies like.... MCA -- this one is the best, because BCA students already have the base for studying MCA. MBA-- if you are interested in the managerial field. M.Sc-- in computer or IT or computer application. M.S-- One course that you can do is MS....it is very demanding. Other short term courses that a BCA graduates can specialize in are: Computer Graphics. Programming Languages. Database Management. Systems Analysis. Word Processing. Internet Technologies. Accounting Applications. Animation. Music and Video Processing. Personal Information Management. After doing Masters, you will get a salary of 25,000 to 30,000 at the start... Re: What is BCA course and opportunities available for it? hello, BCA means bachelor of computer application, is a professional degree course which is for the student who wants to be a software engineer or wants to go in the field of computer and information technology.... eligibility for BCA is; -a candidate should be 12th pass with maths but some university also enroll without math as a subject.... -duration of course is 3 years(semester system) |

If you are interested in computer related field and even if you are not interested in computer field, but you have a fast thinking mind and can apply concepts and analyze the situation coming your way, then BCA is the perfect course for you.
