Marine engineering is a very nice course. It has a great demand on the recent market in india as well as abroad. Before a century ago marine engineering has no demand on the market but the world has changed now marine engineering has a great demand. Marine engineering one of the challenging sector of the engineering as here engineer have to take care of the life also. Marine engineer mainly deals with the equipment used in the sea or river. They are involved in the manufacture , maintenance, repairing , researching on the large vessels like ship, boat, cargo, submarine. Marine engineer is responsible for everything on the ship. They must a good knowledge about the material science . Here you did not maintain your qualification means your are from diploma or 12th pass with science but we will try to help you . Diploma pass out: After diploma you can take admission on the any of this engineering two way. 1.Lateral entry 2.Through common entrance exam Lateral entry: Most of the diploma holder chose this path to take admission on the graduation engineering.To take admission on this way you have to apply state wise as this exam in mainly conduct by the state board. If you qualify then you will get admission on the colleges as per your rank on the entrance exam. Here you have to take admission on the colleges belongs to that state you qualify the exam you cannot take admission on any colleges in India. But here is one benefit that you will get admission on direct 2nd year of the engineering as you study 3 year of diploma.If you want to change trade then you have to inform your university about this. Education qualification required for this exam: 1.Candidate have to pass 10th from a recognized university with min 50% marks 2.Candidate have to pass diploma from a recognized university with min 50% marks 3.Candidate must have no active backlogs Through common entrance exam: You can take admission through the common entrance exam. In this case you have to study 4year of the engineering you will not be able to take admission on direct 2nd year of the engineering. Here you can chose the best colleges across India as per your rank on the common entrance exam. List of exam: 1.IIT-JEE (to take admission on IIT and NIT only) 2.AIEEE (To take admission on any college in India except IIT)\ 3.State based exam (To take admission on the colleges belongs to that state) 4.College based exam( To take admission on that particular college) Education qualification required: 1.Candidate have to pass 10th from a recognized university with min 50% marks 2.Candidate have to pass diploma from a recognized university with min 50% marks 3.Candidate must have no active backlogs After 12th pass: After 12th pass you have one option to join engineering that is common entrance exam. It is same as the common entrance for diploma holder. Greetings Friend, Eligibility Criteria for B.E Marine Engineering :- 1) Candidate must be 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. 2) Candidate should have at least 50-60% marks in 12th. 3) Candidate should be 17 or older.
