IAS is the hardest exam held by the upsc civil service exam for B.TECH student the top 5 easy subject-
mathematics
chemistry
civil
history
physics
you can choose only two optional subject amongest these 5 subject for cracking the IAS exam so this is the best subject for you.

->IPS Exam was conducted by the UPSC gov with civil service.

->The age should be 22 to 30 and for the reservation category like sc/st can written any number of times and for the OBC candidates 7 years.

->i am giving some of the optional subjects you can choose any of these subjects it will be helpful to your life.

Mathematics,
Mechanical Engineering,
Medical Science,
Philosophy,
Physics,
Political Science and International Relations,
Psychology,
Public Administration,
Sociology,
Statistics,
Zoology.

These are the options and you have to choose any two of the above which have your interest more.

Each paper is of 3 hours duration.

IAS exam is conducted by UPSC through Civil Service Exam so if you want to go for IAS exam

IAS officers are recruited through Civil Services Exam conducted by UPSC.

Required Qualification to appear for Civil Services Exam

-You should have passed Graduation degree in any specialization from recognized Institute.
-You are for civil service exam while in graduation final year.
-UPSC Civil service exam has no restriction on graduation percentage.
-Your Age should be within the limit of 21 to 23 years.
-You must be a citizen of India.

As mentioned you have chosen 2 subjects Electrical engineering & public administration. Since you an electrical engineer so undoubtedly electrical subject will help you but I hope you are confident with public administration subject if not start preparation now succes or failure in any exam is in your hands, determination & hard-work.

you are ask about crack optional subject....
i think for the CSAT i woll prefare you general study sub and indian constitution
these are simple subject through you can crack the ias exam quikly .....if you have no time
and two subjct are mostly easily
you can also prefare histry

This exam is conducting once in a year.

Educational qualification:

-->Any graduation from a recognised university.

-->final year candidates also eligible.

Nationality:

Indian.

Age criteria:

21 years to 30 years.

Relaxation:

3 years for OBC,

5year for SC/ST.

Hai,

IAS(Indian Administrative Service) exam is conducting by the UPSC one time in a year.

To eligible for this exam you need to complete any graduation from a recognised university.

There is no percentage is required.

Age limits is 21 years to 30 years, age relaxation of 3 years for obc candidates, age relaxation of 5 years for sc/st candidates.

Animal husbandry and vetinary,
Management,
Mathematics,
Statistics,
Physics,
Chemistry,
History,
Law,
Botany,
Zoology,
Geology,
Psychology,
Public administration,
Sociology,
Economics,
Commerce,

Electronici engineering,
Political science,
Anthropology.

But you couldn't chose following combination of subjects:

Political Science &
International Relations and
Public Administration;
- Commerce & Accountancy
and Management,
Anthropology and Sociology; - Mathematics and Statistics;
- Agriculture and Animal
Husbandry & Veterinary
Science.

IAS exam is conducted by UPSC through Civil Service Exam so if you want to go for IAS exam , you can attend to CSAT exam.

Those candidate are graduate from any recognized university with any discipline are eligible for IAS exam.

But your age should be in between 22 to 30 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule.

The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.

Also you must be in citizen in India.

You have completed B-TECH in IT department so you are applicable for IAS exam ,I have listed the optional subjects you can choose those subject as your strength.

In optional subject list their is no subject which are related to computer science or IT.

So you can choose one of these scoring subject like History , Pol science ,Philosophy etc.
