Re: Minimum marks to score in each subject and the required percentage to pass in CPT Exam of June,2012? Sir,The Common Proficiency Test comprise of a single Paper divided into four sections. The total marks is 200, out of which you will have to score at least 100 marks of qualify it. In order to get distinction, one must score a minimum of 70% marks in the Common Proficiency Test. Since the question paper is divided into four sections, the marks for each sections is distributed as follows: Fundamentals of Accounting- 60 Marks Mercantile Law- 40 Marks General Economics- 50 Marks Quantitative Aptitude- 50 Marks For more information, refer to the official website of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. |
