as per the instructions of AICTE,only master degree can be done from distance but B.Tech should be completed only in the regular college recognized by AICTE.

As per the Guidelines issued by the All India Council for Technical Education, no technical courses will be recognized by the council if it is offered through distance mode by any university.

The All India Council for Technical Education has made it very clear that only Master of Business Administration and Master of Computer Application offered through distance mode will only be recognized by the council and university offering any other course through distance mode will not get the approval of the council for those particular courses.

So, basically, if an individual is willing to pursue any technical courses , apart from MBA and MCA, recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education, he/she must go for regular mode instead of the distance mode.
