Re: Job Opportunities in Indian Army after completion of LLB? Indian army is one of the wings our defence. The candidates will serve the Indian army as advocate. They will be handling different types of cases related to the India army. They will be admitted in the judge advocate general departments. They may help in formulating policies and rules. Eligibility: Only Indian nationals can apply for this post. The age of a candidate must be between 21 and 27 years. Educational qualifications: A candidate must have a LLB degree with minimum of 55% throughout and a 3 year experience after graduation or 5 years after 12th class. The initial screening will be held at the headquarters and then the short listed candidates will be called at the service selection board. Those who qualify the SSB and the medical thereafter will be placed in the order of merit. |

There are many ways through which you can enter into the Indian Army as an Officer.Some of the modes of entry are:- JAG Men:-The notifications for all the Exams conducted by Indian Army are released in the weekly journal Employment News and leading newspapers and is notified by Additional Directorate General Recruiting / AG Branch.The eligibility criteria for this examination is:- Age:-Candidates from the age group between 21 to 27 yrs can apply for it. Educational Qualification:-Graduate with LLB / LLM with 55% marks can apply provided they are registered with Bar Council of India / State. Short Service Commission Non Technical Men:-The eligibility criteria for this examination is Age:-Candidates from the age group between 19 to 25 yrs can apply for it. Educational Qualification:-Candidates who have completed their graduation from a recognized University can apply for the course. You can even enter through the NCC Special entry provided if you have a 2 Yrs service in NCC Senior Div Army with minimum 'B' Grade in 'C' Certificate Exam. Indian Military Academy:-The short service examination and the IMA comes under the Combined Defense Service examination conducted by the UPSC Board.The eligibility criteria for this examination is Age:-Candidates from the age group between 19 to 24 yrs can apply for it. Educational Qualification:-Candidates who have completed their graduation from a recognized University can apply for the course.Even final semester students who are presently undergoing their graduation courses can apply provided they must submit they certificates related to graduation at the time of interview.
