I belong to Manipur Hai friend You will be considered as a local candidate if you have studied in Andhra Pradesh from 8th to 12th class.Otherwise you will be treated as a non local candidate. If you are a local candidate you can get a seat in good colleges based on your Eamcet rank.If you are a non local candidate then the seat for you will be allotted after allotting to the local candidates. As you have mentioned that you have been studying in Vijayawada since Class 8 upto Class 12, than you will be definitely considered as local candidate for EAMCET provided you qualify the +2 examination in the same year of commencement of the Common Entrance Test. Apart from this, candidates are also considered as local candidate if the candidates Your parents resided within the state for at least 10 years or they are employed in State or Central Government, Public Sector corporations, Local Bodies, Universities and other similar quasi-Public Institutions within the State. |
