Re: What is PSU? How can a B.Tech 4th year student from Electronics and Communication branch participate? In India, public sector undertaking (PSU) is a term used for a government-owned corporation (company in the public sector). The term is used to refer to companies in which the government (either the Union Government or state or territorial governments, or both) owned a majority (51 percent or more) of the company equity. Re: What is PSU? How can a B.Tech 4th year student from Electronics and Communication branch participate? PSU is public sector Undertakings. As a B.tech 4th year candidate, you can certainly apply for the PSU exams. There are different public sector companies which have positions vacant. The details about such vacant positions will be published as notifications. Hence, the candidates can apply as per their qualifications. Generally a graduate can apply for the exam if they score around 50-60% marks in the graduation level. Some of the PSU companies where in the candidates can apply are BHEL, NTPC, SAIL, ISRO, DRDO, etc. Final year graduates can also apply provided they are able to submit the educational certificates if they get selected in the written test. |
