State Bank of India conducts Examination for Bank Clerical post and Probationary Officer time to time as per the requirement.

As you are pursing BA in English that means you have not completed Graduation, you are now only eligible for SBI Clerical Exam.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR SBI CLERICAL EXAM:-

-The candidate must be an Indian Citizen
-Should have completed 12th with at least 60% marks in any stream from a recognised Board or have completed Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognised University.
-Should be within the age of 18 to 28 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate.
-Should be a computer literate one.

As you have completed 12th with 64% marks, you are eligible to apply for SBI Clerical exam irrespective of securing 34% marks in 10th standard.

The selection is through written exam followed by personal interview.

In order to be eligible for the entrance exam conducted by State Bank of India for the post of Probationary Officer, you just need to be a graduate in any discipline. Since you did not scored good marks in your secondary examination, you might be asked about the reason in the interview round and make sure you have a convincing answer for the same. But as far as the eligibility for writing the exam is concerned, the performance in the secondary examination is not given importance. So, if you are a graduate, you can write the exam, no matter how much you scored in your graduation, +2 or secondary examination. But again, I would like to tell you that your academic performance might be discussed in the interview round and you need to have the ability to explain and highlight your improvement throughout after secondary examination.
Therefore, you must try to score more than 64% marks in your graduation, so that the board of interviewer could see improvement in your performance throughout and they will be convinced to ignore your performance in secondary exam.
