IFS refers to Indian Forest Service and the entrance examination for the same is conducted by Union Public Service Commission.
Now, since you have studied Zoology and even Botany in your bachelors degree program, you are definitely eligible to apply for Indian Forest Service Exam.
The minimum eligible age for the same is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years and is relaxed upto five years for candidates from Sc/St category and three years for candidates belonging to OBC category.
The upcoming Indian Forest Service Exam is going to be held on 14.07.2012 and the application form for the same is already available on www.upsconline.nic.in.
