Hi,

CBI stands for Central Bureau Investigation. To join the CBI first you need to crack the CGPE(Combined Graduate Preliminary Examination). This exam conducted by the SSC(Staff Selection Commission).

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

The candidate should complete the graduation from any recognized university.

There is no minimum percentage of marks required.

Final year appearing candidates also eligible this exam.

The age limit should be between 20 to 27 years.

For OBC candidates 20 to 30 years.

For sc/st candidates 20 to 32 years.

Physical standard:

height-165 cms

chest:

unexpanded-77cms

expanded-82 cms

preliminary exam

main exam

Hai,

CBI - CRIMINAL BEAURO OF INVESTIGATION, to become an CBI officer, one has to apply for Combined Graduation Level Examination conducted by SSC(Staff Selection Commission) every year for recruitment to various posts under Central Govt.

The candidate must be an Indian Citizen having either appeared for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 20 to 27 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate, is eligible to apply for Combined Graduation Level Exam.

The candidate applying for CBI officer has to undergo certain prwescribed Physical Fitness test.

The SSC Combined Graduate Level exam is conducted through:-

Written exam followed by Personal Interviewc.

To become a CBI officer you have to apply for the Combined graduate level examination. This examination is conducted by the STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION every year for the various posts. The eligibility required for the post in CBI is given below:

Education Qualification
Candidate applying for the SSC combined graduate level examination should be graduate in any discipline from the recognized university. Those appeared in the final year examination are also eligible to apply for this examination.

Age Limit
Candidate applying in the CBI through SSC examination should have age between 20-27 years.
Relaxation in age is given to reserved category candidates. The age relaxation for different category candidates is given below:
SC/ST 5 years
OBC 3 years
PH 10 years
PH + OBC 13 years
PH + SC/ST 15 years

Scheme of Examination
The SSC Combined graduate level examination is conducted in three tiers as mentioned below.
Tier I: Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
Tier II: Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
Tier III: Personality Test/ Interview/ Computer Proficiency Test or Skill Test (wherever applicable)

Hello

Eligibility of CBI Officer - Graduation having more than 50% marks in total can appear for UPSC Examination.

Also you should need to pass the combines graduate level examination of Staff Selection Commission as conducted by Government of India. You should need to clear its four stages. You should need to fulfill the physical requirements like height and chest etc. CBI recruits Sub-Inspectors by SSC and they give advertisement in Employment News Paper and other news papers.
