Dear,
If you want to prepare G.K and english for bank exam then you should have a good preparation material. If your don't have then don't worry, I am going to explain which book and website is helpful for you.

If we talk about english then If a kind of subject that is hated by almost 90% candidates. It includes
• Synonyms - Antonyms
• Phrases
• Grammar
• Compression
• Para Jumbles
• One word Substitution
• Sentence Correction

For synonyms and antonyms, I recommend a website named http://www.memonicsdictionary.com/ which is very helpful for memorizing difficult words meanings and synonyms.
•-> Best Book that is available in market is RS Aggrawal for English.

For Gk, You may read newspapers, magazines, competitive books articles and many more.
•-> The best site to build G.K is http://competitionmaster.com/

Re: How to prepare for GK and English for Bank Clerk Exams?

A candidate need not to prepare General Knowledge to appear for Bank clerk exams. Instead a candidate should be full-fledged with General Awareness to crack bank clerk exam.

The various aspects which a candidate has to prepare under General Awareness are
-National Affairs
-International Affairs
-Bilateral Affairs
-Awards
-Persons in News
-Sports
-Books and Authors

of previous 6 months prior to the exam.

You can collect information from daily news papers and news channels. You can also go through several magazines like Banking Services Chronicle.

Updation of information on the above aspects benefit you a lot.

As far as English is concerned, to score high in English section in bank clerk exam, you should have command over various Grammatical points.

If you are not good enough in Grammar, try to be master in that.

In addition you should have strong vocabulary. To build up vocabulary I suggest you to learn 5 new words daily and use those words in your day to day conversations.

Practice as number of comprehension passages as possible. The more practice you have, the less time you take to understand the essence of the passage and so that you can easily answer the questions.
