hi friend,

Eligibility Criteria IAF Pilot:-

1) Age:- 19 to 23 years


2) Marital Status :- Single


3) Nationality :- Indian


4) Gender :- This is applicable to both men and women.


5) Educational Qualifications :- Must be a graduate in any stream with Physics and Mathematics in 10+2.



Entry Procedure :-


There are the three modes of entry for graduates to join the Flying Branch :-


1) Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE)

2) National Defence Academy(NDA)
3) AFCAT


Important dates for NDA II EXAM:


• Release of Notification: 5th May,2012
• Last date of submission of application form: 4th June, 2012
• Date of Examination: 19th August, 2012

Dear friend,

You have completed your BCA degree so you are eligible for CDSE exam.Also you are eligible NCC SPECIAL ENTRY exam.If you have NCC C certificate.

If you want join in Indian Airforce as a pilot then you must go for above exams.


Those candidate are completed graduation are eligible for CDSE exam but 12 standard subject must be Math and Physics.

B-TECH ans BE student are also eligible for this exam .But you have not any Pending Backlog.

Final Year student are also eligible for CDSE exam.There is no percentage marks criteria.

The age criteria for CDSE exam is given below.

Indian Military Academy - 19-24 Years
Air Force Academy - 19-23 Years
Naval Academy - 19-22 Years
Officer's Training Academy - 19-25 Years
