NDA-NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY  >> Introduction : National Defence Academy (NDA) is a joint services academy of the Indian Armed Forces, where cadets of the three services - the Army, the Navy and the Air Force are trained together before they go on to their respective service academies. It is located in Khadakwasla, near Pune, Maharashtra. The exam is coducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice in a year. . >> Eligibility Criteria : 1. Nationality : You must be an Indian. 2. Gender : You must be a male candidate. 3. Martial Status : You must be an unmarried. 4. Physical Status : You must be physically fit. >> Educational Qualification : You must have qualified 10 2 or any equivalent from a recognized Board or University. >> Age Criteria : The age limit is 16.5 years to 19 years. >> Number of Attempts : There is no any limitation in number of attempts for the examination. Re: Required Educational Qualification for NDA Entrance Exam? NDA is an entrance exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission. This is an entrance exam for joining in any of the three defense services namely Indian Army, Navy and Air force. To appear in this entrance exam the qualifications required are 1. You must be a citizen of India. 2. Your age must be above 16.5 years and below 19 years. 3. You must complete your 12th std from a recognized board schools. 4. If you want join in Air force or Navy you must take science as your stream in 11th std and 12th std. If you want to join in army you can take any stream in 11th std. Hope for your good future scope............. |

NDA exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year twice to take qualified students into defense service like >>Indian Army >>Indian Navy >>Indian Air Force Eligibility criteria for NDA exam: For Indian Air Force/Navy: You should have completed or appearing for final exam of 12th class with PCM stream from a recognized university and your age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years. For Indian Army: You should have completed or appearing for final exam of 12th class with any stream from a recognized university and your age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years. If you fulfill with this criteria,then you can appear for this year NDA exam. NDA-I exam notification released on 31st Dec 2011,closed on 30th Jan 2012 and exam will held on 15th April 2012. There are no need of percentage required in the 12th class for the NDA entrance examination only pass the 12th class is enough to appear in the NDA entrance examination. Eligibility criteria for the NDA Examination :~ Pass 12th class in any stream from a recognize board. The age must be between 16 1/2 to 19 years. NDA- NATIONAL DEFENCE SERVICE exam conducted by UPSC two times every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA. The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male within the age of 16.5 to 19 years of age having either appeared for final 12th exam or passed from any stream from a recognised Central/State Board with good physical fitness. The candidate having 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible to apply for all three wings of NDA but candidate having 12th without the aforesaid subject can only be eligible to apply for Indian Army wing of NDA. Re: Required Educational Qualification for NDA Entrance Exam? Here I am providing you the required educational qualification which a candidate should possess to be eligible for NDA Exam. One should have completed 12th class from a recognized institute with any of the stream to be eligible for Army wing. One should have completed 12th class with Physics and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects in order to be eligible for Navy and Air Force wings. Candidates who are pursuing final year of 12th class are also eligible to appear for this exam. This Exam is being conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year. As per the age criteria, you should be in the age group of 16 1/2 years to 19 years to take up this exam. In addition, you should be an unmarried male candidate to take up this exam. The selection procedure to be placed in above Defence services is by -Written Exam -Interview Further, you need to go through a medical test as a part of selection procedure. For this academic year, the last date to apply for NDA I Exam was over. If you fulfill the above eligibility criteria and if you are interested to take up this exam, you can attempt upcoming NDA II Exam of this year.
