DEAR SIR/MADAM, MY BITSAT SCORE IS 92 AND MY PERCENTAGE IN 12TH (STATE BOARD OF TAMILNADU) IS 86 AND MY PCM PERCENTAGE IS 81.DO I HAVE A CHANCE TO GET AN ADMISSION IN BITS (ANY CAMPUS IN INDIA).PLEASE REPLY AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE.REGARDS. |

The BITSAT score is only taken into consideration after fulfillment of the minimum eligibility score in 12th standard.Also a candidate should score a minimum of 60% marks in each of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. thank you........... |

To be eligible in BITSAT a candidates needs to pass 12th with atleast 80% marks in aggregate in PCM. Also a candidate should score a minimum of 60% marks in each of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. You didnt written your PCM aggregate. If you score 60% in PCM then you are eligible. Good luck |

Also a candidate should score a minimum of 60% marks in each of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Only those candidates who have passed 12th in 2009 or are appearing in 2010 are eligible to appear for BITSAT. If your score is less than 80% aggregate in PCM then you are not eligible for BITSAT. sorry...

As per the notification, for being eligible for admissions : You should have passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Further you should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 80% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in 12th examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects and should have adequate proficiency in English.
