I am studying in 8th standard NDA- NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA. The questions will come from 10th standard course. The subject like English, Mathematics, History and Civics, Geography, Chemistry and Biology and Physics to be concentrated on. You may prefer the books on NDA available in market such as Upkar Prakashan, Unique Publishers etc. For further details you may log on to www.upsc.gov.in |

I am studying in 8th standard The best coaching material which would suit your son at this standard are his text books itself.Subjects like English, Mathematics, History and Civics, Geography, Chemistry, Biology and Physics are well split up based upon the marks in NDA examination.the standard of the NDA examination is of 10th class level i.e concentrating on 10th class subjects .So, suggest your son to focus on all the subjects which are going to be covered in 9th and 10th level. You can even prefer materials of Upkar Prakshan, Unique Publishers for getting a rough idea about the type of questions being asked in NDA examination.Syllabus of ICSE and CBSE suits the NDA examination i.e prefer books of Goyal Publishers, Selina and Frank Brothers for the 9th and 10th class level.
