Re: How to join Indian Army after passing 10th from KV with 10 CGPA? You can't join Indian Army after 10th class, minimum qualification to join Indian Army is 12th class. After 12th class you can apply for NDA examination. NDA stands for National Defence Academy. NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year. Eligibility Criteria : Nationality : Candidate must be Citizen of India. Marital Status and Sex : Candidate must be unmarried male. Age Limit : Age of candidate must be from 16.5 to 19 years. Education Qualification : Indian Army : Candidate must have passed 12th class in any discipline. Indian Air Force and Indian Navy : Candidate must have passed 12th class with Physics and Mathematics. It is not possible to join Indian Army after passing 10th class because the minimum qualification required to join any defense academy is 10+2. There are two exams conducted by UPSC every year to recruit personnel in defense services.These are *NDA Exam-National Defense Academy Exam *CDS Exam-Common Defense Services Exam. The eligibility criteria for NDA exam are as under:- -NDA has three wings; Indian Military Academy. Indian Naval Academy. Indian Air Force Academy. - UPSC conducts entrance exam twice a year with the name;NDA I and NDA II.The candidate has to clear the entrance exam to get into NDA. -The candidate must be a citizen of India. -The qualification required to join NDA is 12th class of 10+2 education system from a recognized board for Indian Military Academy and 10+2 with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics for Indian Naval Academy and Indian Air Force Academy -The age limit for the candidate is 16.5 years to 19 years. -Only unmarried male candidate can apply for the exam. -The selection process involves written examination followed by personal interview by Service Selection Board. -The candidate should be physically fit as per the Physical Standards required to join NDA. UPSC conducts CDS(Combined Defense Services) exam every year for recruitment in different wings of Indian Army. The eligibility criteria for CDS exam are as under:- -The candidate must be an Indian. -For CDS exam,the age limit are following:- Indian Military Academy- 19 years to 24 years Indian Naval Academy-19 years to 22 years Indian Air Force Academy-19 years to 23 years Officer's Training Academy-19 years to 25 years -The qualification required for Indian Military Academy/Officer's Training Academy-Graduation in any discipline. Indian Naval Academy-Bachelor of Engineering. Indian Air Force Academy-10+2 level degree with Physics and Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering. -The candidate should be physically fit as per the Physical Standards for admission to CDS exam. -The exam process involves *Written Exam *Interview by Services Selection Board. |

After 10th you can not join the N.D.A. you have to be passed the 12th to join N.D.A. with any stream.The entrance of N.D.A. is conducted for all three wings- >> Air force >> Indian Navy >> Indian army Where eligibility for N.D.A. is- >> Candidate should be an Indian citizen and should be 12th passed out with no backlogs. >> Candidate to be Indian and must passed 12th standard with Science stream with Physics and mathematics to join Air force and Navy. >> Candidate must be unmarried male candidate and physically fit with eye sight 6/6. >> For the age criteria is upto 16-19 years to apply for N.D.A. >> Candidates marital status should be An unmarried male. Where selection process is- >> Preliminary exam >> Mains exam >> Personal interview NOTE- the exam is conducted 2 times a year. |

There is no way by which you can join Indian army after your 10th only .For joining Indian Army you must have at least done your 12th or pursuing final year of same with any stream of your choice . Then you will have to go through the NDA examinations taken twice in a year by Union Public ervice Commission in a year known as NDA I & NDA II held in the months of April and September respectively . NDA stands for national defense academy and it has three wings which are Indian Army , Indian Navy & Indian Air force. The minimum qualification required for this examination are here under :- Age limit : Your age must be within 16.5 years to 19 years . Martial Status : You must be unmarried . Gender : You must be a male . Educational qualification :- You must have done your 12th with Mathematics , Chemistry and Physics as your main subjects to be eligible for all the three wings otherwise you will be only eligible for Indian Army .Marks of 10th has no role to play . The examination will be held in two stages .First stage is the written examination in which if you pass then you will be called for second stage that is SSB interview . Do not get disappointed if you do not get through NDA examination as there will be the option of CDS examinations after your graduation . for exams like NDA, CDSE etc. so you need to get higher education at least +2 then you can appear for NDA ( including +2 appearing candidates can apply as well) or you can get an engineering degree and apply for CDSE Physical requirements are not same for all the wings of Defense forces... generally it is minimum 165 cm for men. with more conditions such as vision chest expansion etc. read in detail @ http://www.upsc.gov.in |

Candidates applying for the above exam can also apply Age-16.5-19 years Thus you have to give your board exam first and then apply for the NDA entrance exam. Work hard on mathematics and general ability. exam pattern- mathematics 2.5hrs (300 marks) and general ability 2.5 hrs (600 marks) all total-900 marks for more info log onto this website:- www.nda.nic.in |

How to join Indian Army after passing 10th from KV with 10 CGPA? sir, i recently have passed 10th from kendriya vidyalaya and got cgpa10. I want to join indian army. Will commerce with maths be good to be selected in NDA entrance.?? |
