Re: Can I apply for NDA exam after completion of 10th class? No, you can not apply for NDA after 10th standard as the minimum educational qualification criteria for NDA is 12th standard. NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year for an entry in to Indian Army, navy and Air Force wing of NDA. The eligible candidate must be an Indian unmarried Male candidate only having either appear for the final 12th standard exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health. National Defence Academy (NDA) __________________________________________________ ______________ If you want to join NDA, then you have to a complete 12th standard. There are three wings in NDA : • Indian Army • Indian Navy • Indian Air Force To join any of the above wing you have to appear in NDA entrance examination which is organized by UPSC twice in a year, i.e NDA I & NDA II. You can also appear in NDA exam while in 12th standard.  Eligibility Criteria for NDA (Indian Air Force): • You should be 12th passed in any stream from recognized university/board. • Your Age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years. • You should be Unmarried, Male & citizen of India. So, you're not eligible for NDA Entrance Examination. So, Please apply for 11th Standard which is make you to eligible for NDA Entrance Examination. NDA Means for National Defence Academy and this Examination is Conducted by Union Public Service Commission for every twice in a year. Under this NDA Examination there are three academy like, Army, Navy,Airforce. Re: Can I apply for NDA exam after completion of 10th class? Sorry to say that after 10th you are not eligible for NDA exam because the minimum Qualification for this exam is 12th standard. After completion of your 10th standard , you are not eligible for NDA exam because the minimum educational qualification for NDA exam is 12th standard. But after 10 th standard you have some option in various Defence sector. Constable Sundry washer cook GD Also you are eligible for CISF ,CRPF ,BSF ,ITBP ,RPF and State Police because those organization can recruit the candidate from 10th standard. But the better option for you to go for 12th standard.After completion of your 12th standard you are eligible for NDA exam. If you have completed your graduation degree then you are applicable for CDS, UES , NCC SPECIAL Entry exam. So the better option for you to go for Higher Study.Then you can get some good position in defence sector.Those candidate have completed 12th standard are applicable for NDA exam but your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 year.There is no age relaxation for reserved category. Only unmarried male candidate are applicable for NDA exam.You must have citizenship of India. Thank you |

The minimum educational qualification for NDA exam is 10 2(12th standard) with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects. After completing 12th standard you can eligible for NDA exam. NDA stands for National Defence Academy. It is conducted by UPSC every year. Every they conduct two exams NDA-1 & NDA-2. Through these exams we can enter into any branch in Defence Academy. They have also introduced B-Tech course in Naval Academy. The educational qualification for NDA is 10 2 standard with physics and mathematics as subjects of 60% and above. The age limit is 17-21 years. Mathematics, Physics,Chemistsy and General Knowledge as subjects. After qualifying in the written exam there will be an interview. After passing in the interview the candidates are taken to the Naval Academy, Ejimalla, Kerala. |

The educational Qualification required to NDA is 12th standard. NDA stands for National Defence Academy. This exam conducted by the union public service commission twice in a year. i.e, NDA-I NDA-II NDA has three wings Indian army Navy Indian Air force ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Educational Qualification: The candidate complete the 12th standard from a recognized state board of india. There is no minimum percentage required to eligible this exam. The final pursuing candidates are also eligible for this exam. The physics chemistry and mathematics compulsory subjects for the indian navy and air force exams. Age limit: the minimum age limit is 16.5 and maximum age limit is 19 years. There is no age relaxation for the other categories. Gender: Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this exam. Girls are not eligible. Physical standards: the candidate should have physical fitness and medically fit. NDA-II Important dates:- Date of examination:- 19- aug-2012, Date of notification:- 05-may-2012, Last date for application forms:-04-june-2012. Who is completed his 12th standard from a recognised state or central board is eligible for NDA(National Defence Academy). In the above iam mentioned 'his' means only unmarried male candidates are eligible, girls are not eligible for this exam. So first complete 12th standard then after apply NDA exam. NDA exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) two times in every year That are NDA-I, NDA-II. Your age should be in between 16.5 years to 19 years, and there is no age relaxation for the reservation candidates. The candidates who are applying this exam physically fit. Selection procedure: Written test, SSB interview, Medical test. NDA-II Important dates:- Date of examination:- 19-aug-2012, Date of notification:- 05-may-2012, Last date for application forms:-04-june-2012. If you wish to join Army wing of National defense academy then you must pass you intermediate first And if you wish to join air force or Navy wing of National defense academy then you will have to pass Intermediate with Physics and Mathematics as subjects also. Also The age limit is from 16.5 years to 19 years, I am assuming that even age wise you will not be eligible. Those are awaiting their 10+2 results are also eligible but they will have to submit their documents before a prescribed date. there are also some physical standards of eyesight, height, weight, minor ailments , and for air force even thigh thickness, sitting height,l leg thickness are also considered but you still have 2 more years to go so you can check these later Just remember to choose physics and maths as subjects if you are interested in Navy or air force. |

NDA entrance exam eligibility criteria:- You should be minimum 12 pass out age limit-16.5-19 yrs you should be an unmarried citizen of india Exam pattern:- paper i is mathematics of 300 marks paper ii is the general ability divided into two parts:- part A is english of 200 marks part B is general knowledge of 400 marks so total 900 marks Then there is the interview session which will yield you more marks
