Re: Can I get a seat in UPSC exam after passing 12th? sorry but every one says that you have to start your preparation OK.. but with what.... after 12th the students may seek necessary information about the UPSC... i.e everthing related to UPSC exams which can be appeared after graduation (Bachelor degree) can anyone explain what to do in the time span of three years of attaining bachelor degree... WHAT TO PREPARE and FROM WHERE...? plz guide me |

Re: Can I get a seat in UPSC exam after passing 12th? hello friend After having completed your 12th with Science stream,you definitely have scope in the exams conducted by the UPSC. - The UPSC conducts a lot of examinations throughout the year,but with Class 12th qualification,you can appear for the NDA and SCRA exams. NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY EXAMS. >> The NDA Exams are conducted twice in an year by the UPSC,in the months of April and September. >> The notifications of the release of application forms for the NDA-I exams and the NDA-II exams are made in the months of January and May respectively. >> The complete eligibility criteria of the NDA exams are mentioned below :: 01. NATIONALITY. You must be a citizen of India. 02. AGE LIMITS. You must be 16.5 to 19 years of age.No relaxations are allowed. O3. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS. You must have completed your 10+2 board exams from a recognized university or board.Final year students are also applicable. However,to apply for NAVY and AIR FORCE,you must have had PHYSICS and MATHS as your subjects at 10+2 level. 04. SEX. You must be an unmarried male candidate. Re: Can I get a seat in UPSC exam after passing 12th? dear friend. the minimum eligibility criteria for upsc exams is 50% in graduation from a recognized university. since you have passed your +2 right now so you are not eligible for that. if you want to really do it then first of all go for your bachelor degree an p.t start your prepration for the upsc also. you will have to work very hard to clear all levels of these exams. for initial stage you can read the unique book for the p.t and pratiyogita darpan magazine with that, after the p.t you will have to elect two papers for the main exams you can opt any of them depending your knowledge and skills. all the best. |

Re: Can I get a seat in UPSC exam after passing 12th? you can't get a seat in upsc exams like IAS,IPS,IFS, which are infact a higher standard exams which can be attempted only when you have a graduation.but there are few important and valuable exams that can be attempted after 12th standard..... like UPSC SCRA AND UPSC NDA(1) AND UPSC(2) exams. i do mention u here the important dates of this exams.. the first one, scra has been finished in the very beginning of the year.... regarding... N.D.A. & N.A. EXAM.(II), 2012 date of notification: 05.05.2012 last date to apply: 04.06.2012 date of examination:19.08.2012 the eligibility has to be checked with the official website UPSC.GOV.IN |

Nda exam(only male candidates are eligible) is conducted twice every year in April and in August.. for exam in april the notification will be in December which is already over this year... the second exam will be conducted on 19th August this year...(sunday)... For eligility and other information you can visit this site: http://www.upsc.gov.in one more thing .... NDA exam is not an easy one to crack... it needs a lot of dedication and knowledge... so prepare well... All the Best |

NDA has three stream: 1.Indian Army 2.Indian Air Force 3.Indian Navy i want to tell you that if you are a arts student then you are eligible only for the INDIAN ARMY. Because for AIR FORCE & INDIAN NAVY the student should be from science stream. Eligibility for NDA : Educational Qualifications: 1.For Army wing of National Defence Academy: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University. 2.For Air Force and Navy Wings: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equilvalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University. "Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination". Age Limits: • Candidate born not earlier than 2nd July, 1994 and not later than 1st January, 1996.
