So that is a different perspective we should look in to when we are in this type of confusion. Both are two different reputed courses.But have their own merits and demerits. So if you are going to research and development you can choose the Msc or if you are going to the teaching field you can take this as it is best when compared with mca. When coming to the MCA is totally the computer oriented master degree.By which you can get into the companys of the IT and also the Teaching. But only difference between both of them is that the companys of the IT prefer the MCA students when compare with the Msc students. So now i narrowed your solution.Based on your choice take the wise decision.Anything is good for career.There is no doubt in that since both are the post graduation courses. It depends on the students, how much deep knowledge they have about their field. All the best...................... |

Re: MCA or M.Sc(CS): Better course? Dear friend, Definitely doing M.Sc in IT will add an extra feature to your career profile. In software industry it has very important value similar to MCA. As because you have already done Microsoft certification course you will have extra advantage by doing M.Sc in IT. There are chances for you to join in database management system in Govt or private farms, even as software developer in reputed software companies. So i will suggest you to go for this course. Re: MCA or M.Sc(CS): Better course? If you want to do M.TECH then doing M.sc is much better. And if you are from BCA background then M.Sc is great because whatever you studied in BCA the same subject you will have to study in MCA. I personaly thought if you want to do MTECH then doing M.Sc is good choice and a wise thingking. |

Re: MCA or M.Sc(CS): Better course? hi, MCA is the one of the best course if want to do 2 year degree then u can choose msc(cs).msc(cs) is not bed choice it also cover most of the subject as in mca. it is only depends upon your intersted. |

Re: MCA or M.Sc(CS): Better course? If you have an option then select MCA. It is considered equivalent to the B.Tech course in the industry. Also the course will give you in depth knowledge in the same. After M.Sc it will be advisable to pursue M.Tech. You can go in for teaching after both the courses too. |
