The weather is bit dry and in summers goes around 35-40 Degrees wheres in winters its less than 10 degrees. The food: you will get delicious, natural south indian food like idly, dosa, bara etc at economical prices but if you look for north indian/punjabi dhaba food, then you might not get the same taste. The living conditions: the system of living is quite smooth because of good literacy rate and people are co-operative. but still , you need to pro-actively remain in touch with people from your city and the community/clubs and particiapte in festivals/ get together because many students are there like you. There are no issues when you are inside your college, but when you are outside, local language is a problem somewhere but most of the people can speak english fluently (though they can understand hindi also). Except the cultural and climate issue, the living condition are almost similar and south india is known for IT, literacy,discipline and co-operation. It just takes time to settle down. do not worry !! |
