Re: Only those M.Tech students get placed who do it from good colleges? An M.tech degree has become a craze and with no doubt it is one of the pretigious degrees. Some people have a misconception that mostly M.TECH degrees are only confined to teachings in Engineering colleges and Research. But it is not the case,there are opportunities in other sectors. One would definitely get a better command in their respective specialisation after M.tech.An M.Tech after the B.tech would be an added advantage. It would be better to write GATE for getting addmissions in reputed institutes for M.TECH(provided the GATE score is good) It is very much true that the placement chances are very high in good colleges,especially the Govt.colleges have even higher placement records.Even some of the reputed private colleges have good records of placements. So,it is advisable to take the GATE exam and score good score to get admissions for M.TECH in reputed colleges. |

In the field of M.Tech institute does matters, if you are from a good reputed college then there are more chances to get a good job students from good colleges are preffered, it does means that the good students not from a reputed college don't get a good job, they also do. But today every body think that student from a good college will have the knowledge in his field, and can do better.. |

No..this is not so..students who have skills ,capability, confidence and knowledge get placed, this is just a myth.. if you think so then don't because this isn't true and will create a negetive thuoght in your mind..so be positive.. |

Dont think like that every college is good you are doing MTech after MTech you obviously go to in some good company if you have talent and you fulfill the eligibility of that company.It totally depends on the students to go through in good company or not I see many students doing good courses from reputed colleges but not placed in good companies so you dont worry keep on study well and get good marks in your study you surely get good job. the Future for MTech student is very Bright and prosper you can go in some good company or in research or in academic after MTech. Re: Only those M.Tech students get placed who do it from good colleges? Placement is almost same for the student weather Mtech or Btech from good intitution with good acedamic record. As we can see student who completed there engineering but dont have jobs because they of lack of knowledge and lower grading. similar senerio is also applicable for Mtech. but there is always a chance of entering into the field of Teaching. As ME/ Mtech is compulsory for teaching there is a bright future in this field. But i think it is the last option if you dont get placed in a company. |

Re: Only those M.Tech students get placed who do it from good colleges? hai.......... it's nothing like that.........you can get good job after completion of m.tech............ it depends upon your caliber and worth-fullness ........ even though you dint studied in good college u can get BUT if u study in good and branded colleges means u can easily get jobs in on-campus jobs where u cant get in normal colleges. all the best take care man....... |

Re: Only those M.Tech students get placed who do it from good colleges? this is not true at all. yes those who are admitting in good college for M.Tech they may get a better opportunity. but this is not true that a student pass out from a comparable low standard institution will not get placed. after M.Tech scope and job opportunity is very high. you may join as a lecturer in an institution and also you may apply for B.Tech job. there are so many post for which only M.Tech students are eligible. but one thing you should have a good knowledge on your subject. if you have proper knowledge then easily you will do better irrespective of your college. obviously college is also a matter. a student from a good institution always preferable for job. so try to your best to do M.Tech from the best college for you. but it does not mean that if you are unable to get good knowledge then you will not study M.Tech. do M.tech with good knowledge, choose a very good project in M.Tech then easily you will get placed. best wishes. |

Re: Only those M.Tech students get placed who do it from good colleges? for on campusing placements the name and approval of colleges matter. but since you are talking about M.Tech, so after M.Tech you will definitely get very good jobs but you have to crack GATE and get admission in iit's, which is best to pursue M.tech. so i can conclude that yes placement occurs for M.tech students pursuing from good colleges. but this also goes same for MBA or MCA students. |

But for placement, no doubt good college will provide you more placement chances in different good companies. As you didn't mention your specialization in B.tech then i can't give you proper details about your requirement, so better for you to mention your specialization. good luck. |

Top colleges for mtech in India is given below 1.iits. 2.nits. 3.du. 4.cu. 5.ju. 6.jnu. 7.bhu. etc. all the best................. |

The scope of M.Tech is very wide.After completion of M.tech from any reputed organization will provide a student high profile jobs of good salary packages. The college matters in this field so better college, better placement. If you want to get better college for M.Tech/M.E then you have to score high in the GATE exam. If you are exceptionally well in the GATE exam then you will get chance in the IITs. Once you get into the IITs you are the one who will get the good placement. |
