Re: What should I do to join Indian Army after 12th PCM? UPSC conducts NDA exam after 12th to join Indian Army.As you written you are overage for NDA,you can join Indian army after graduation. Cadets can join the Indian Army either after high school or after getting an undergraduate degree. Prepare for the Combined Defense Services Exam.This exam is taken for graduate students.he notification for the exams appear in August and March and the exam is conducted in February and March in all national newspapers. You should be unmarried and between 19 and 24 years to join the Indian Military Academy or between 19 and 25 years to join the Officers' Training Academy. |

Re: What should I do to join Indian Army after 12th PCM? Hi NDA stands for the National Defense Academy. It is one of the most reputated exams in our country. It is conducted by the UPSC every year to select eligible and capable candidates for the Indian Army, Air Force and Navy. The Basic Eligibility Criteria's for the NDA exam are : 1. You should be an Indian National and Unmarried Male candidate. 2. You should have passed class 12th from a recognized school or state board with a minimum 50% aggregate in it. 3. Your age should be within 16.5 to 19 years in the year of applying. No relaxations are provided in this for any candidates. 4. You should be physically fit. 5. You must have studied Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects if you wish to apply for the IAF or Navy. So if you want to join Indian Army, you must sit for the NDA exam. Today the Notification is updated on the official website of the UPSC. Click Here to visit. You may also read the notification in EMPLOYMENT NEWS The last date to apply is 31st January 2012. To join Indian Army after 12th , you can give the NDA exam. the eligibility for the exam is given below- 1.candidate must have complete the 12th in any trade from a recognized central or state education board. 2.age should be in between 16.5-19 years. 3.candidate must be unmarried male. 4.Candidate must be a citizen of India. 5.candidate must be physically fit. Re: What should I do to join Indian Army after 12th PCM? After 12th PCM you can join in Indian Army by clearing in a exam called NDA exam expanded as National Defense Academy exam. This exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission commonly known as UPSC. To appear in this exam and join in Indian Army you must cleared your 12th std with any group from a recognized school. Your age must be above 19yrs and below 21yrs. More over you must have taken science as your stream in 12th std to join in Air force or Navy. Thus my suggestion for you to join in Indian Army is to appear in NDA exam and clear that. You can also join in Indian Navy or Air force. |

Which is conducted by UPSC every year. Eligibility for NDA exam:- For Army wing:- 1.candidate must have complete the 12th in any trade from a recognized central or state education board. 2.age should be in between 16.5-19 years. 3.candidate must be unmarried male. 4.Candidate must be a citizen of India. 5.candidate must be physically fit. These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill. as you have done 12th with PCM , then you are eligible for the exam. So, go for it. All the best. |

If u win this exam, u will have a medical test and an interview by this exam u can opt for army,navy and airforce This exam is for the age of 17 and 18 for more details, check this:- www.upse.com |

In current scenario, many of the candidates are showing interest to join in variety of Defence services like -Indian Army -Indian Navy -Air Force etc. Its a good move by the people to serve the country. Yes. It is possible for you to join Indian Army soon after the completion of 12th class with PCM. For this you have to appear for NDA Exam which is going to be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year. The selection procecdure in order to be placed in these defence services is by -Written Exam -Interview. Later on, a medical test will also be conducted to the candidates as a part of selection procedure. In order to be eligible for this exam, one should have completed 12th class with any of the stream from a recognized board. Candidates who are pursuing final year of 10+2 are also eligible to apply for this exam. In addition, you should be in the age group of 16 1/2 years to 19 years to be eligible for this exam. For this academic year, UPSC has completed both the NDA Examinations. So, you can appear for upcoming NDA I Exam which is going to be conducted in the next academic year on 15-04-2012. You can get application forms for this exam from today in the sense from 31-12-2011 from the designated post offices all over India. The last date to submit the completed application fomrs for this exam is by 30-01-2012. Apply for this exam and have good preparation to the exam so that you will be get qualified in the Exam.
