The distance education offered by the Vinayaka Missions University is recognized by the following regulatory bodies:

University Grant Commission
Distance Education Council


Since the degree offered by the university is approved by the above mentioned regulatory bodies, candidates holding a masters degree awarded by the university are definitely eligible for the National Eligibility Test as well as State Lectureship Eligibility Test, provided he/she has scored a minimum of 55% in the same.
For candidates belonging to Sc/St category, the required percentage of marks is 50%.

The test is conducted twice a year-in the month of June and December. The notification is usually published on the official website of University Grant Commission. Once the notification is published, candidates may apply for the test through the following website:
