Re: What is the new maximum age limit for UPSC exam? Is the eligibility criteria changed? To appear in UPSC exam, the age limit for- *General category candidate-21-30yr. On 1st july of exam year. ATTEMPT-4 *OBC candidate-21-33yr. ATTEMPT-7 *SC/ST candidate-21-35yr. ATTEMPT-there is no restriction of attempts for sc/st category. There is no change in age limit criteria, although prelims pattern has changed as CSAT (civil services aptitude test) for more information-www.upsc.gov.in ok, best of luck |

Re: What is the new maximum age limit for UPSC exam? Is the eligibility criteria changed? Quote:
Eligibility Criteria For UPSC Exam Actually UPSC conducts various exams like NDA exam,CDS exam,IES exam,etc.. Many people confuse the Civil Service Exams for IAS,IPS as the UPSC Exam.. For the UPSC Civil Service Exams..the age criterion has not changed at all.. According to the UPSC guidelines..a candidate must satisfy the following criterion to appear for the Civil Service Exam :- 1) You need to be a graduate or a final year graduation student in any stream from an AICTE or UGC recognized University.. 2) You should be in the age limit of 21-30 years for general category,21-33 years for OBC and 21-35 years for SC/ST The maximum number of attempts allowed for the general category is 4,for OBC it is 7 and for SC/ST there is no limit.. all the best.. ![]() With Warm Regards "Nitz" |
