IIT JAM Geology Exam – Download Previous Years Question Papers The duration of the exam is three hours and you are expected to answer 44 questions worth 300 marks. Since the paper has both objective as well as subjective answer questions, the time duration is sufficient to manage to complete the paper. Questions 1 to 30 are objective ones and each carries three marks. Questions 31 to 44 are subjective type questions and carry 15 marks each. The syllabus comprises of topics like Planet Earth, Applied Geology, Petrology, etc. All the questions will be from the syllabus itself. Make sure to solve the last years’ papers to get better idea of the type of questions asked. Below are attached previous years question papers.
