Re: What are the job opportunities for IIIT MSc students? I am a Btech IT graduate and i have got admissions in IIIT kerala for their M.Sc IT course.The qualification for the course is Btech or MCA.should i opt for it or go for MTECH??since i am not a gate qualified candidate i will not get in a top college for Mtech.so please help.Can i go for teaching in a engineering college after i graduate from IIIT.please reply |

Re: What are the job opportunities for IIIT MSc students? Hii, Well there are many career options for a MSc graduate, but it only you who can find out what you really want to do with your life. Although there are many companies in need of MSc graduates. All you have to do is make a nice CV and post it at some job searching websites like naukri.com, monster.com and etc. You can also register your name in the employment exchange, keep an eye on the employment bulletin, I am sure these would help you to find a good job. After completion of your degree, you can also apply for these companies: software companies, banks, private sectors, upsc and etc. So in short phrase, I say don't worry about jobs, you will definitely do something good with your life. For now just study hard get your degree with flying colors. Good Luck |

Re: What are the job opportunities for IIIT MSc students? Your opportunities will depend on your area of specialisation during M.Sc. You will mainly have two options. The first is the teaching option and the other is join the research field. For teaching you need to clear the NET exam and for research NET+JRF exam. If you are interested in research then you can join research institites like Rajiv Gandhi Institute, laboratories, testing units etc. |
