Re: What is the scope of Electronics Engineering in Government Sector?

Electronics is an evergreen stream hence recruitment for Electronics stream goes on every year. Some of the PSU's which recruit Electronic stream students are:-

NTPC, HAL, BHEL, BEL, BSNL, ISRO, DRDO, MTNL, BECIL, SAIL..etc

Scope

ECE Engineering branch is an evergreen field because most of the PSU companies use extreme technology hence must of the companies run with closed loop control System.
Closed loop control runs a machine with less man power but an ECE/EEE graduate is needed to look after the Closed loop Systems since slight changes in the operation may lead to drastic changes.

Since there are many PSU's in India hence there is a good demand for ECE Engineer's but you even need to remember that you have to face a tough competition. In India alone there are more than 2,00,000 ECE Graduates getting relieved after their fourth year hence remember the competition is going to be tough but if you have enough basement on your core subjects concepts then you have a chance for getting selected in some PSU.
