MBA and MCA, both are master's degree programs, and choosing one of the two is a big confusion among the students who have completed their BCA course or those who are graduated in B.Sc (IT). Both B.Sc (IT) & BCA, have a technical background, and opting for MCA will take the students to more technical career. |

In the same year i got the job in IT and i am currently working in the same org. I am going to complete 3 Years now in next few days. Can anyone suggest me what should i prefer after " B.Sc(IT) 3 Years of IT Exp " ?? Following are the options i have in mind. 1. MBA (part-time/distance/executive) 2. MCA (part-time/distance) 3. M.Sc(IT)(part-time/full-time) 4. Certification course (llike Oracle DBA/Developer/Java/IT related anything) Thanks in advance !! |

Re: After BSc I.T. what is better course? Msc I.T, MCA or MBA I.T? All the 3 courses that you mentioned like MBA in IT M.SC in IT MCA are post graduation courses in the field technical streams. Out of these 3 courses, the duration of MCA course is that of 3 years and the rest of courses are with the duration of 2 years. The admission for all these courses will be given on the basis of performance in the respective Entrance Exam. Each and every university will conduct its own Entrance Exam in order to give admission for all these courses. If you want to get admission for MCA course in NITs, you better crack NIMCET Exam. To suggest the best course among these three, I suggest you to join MCA course. The reason being there is good career scope and job opportunities for the candidates after completion of MCA course than other courses. Soon after completion of this course, you will be having good number of job opportunities in various IT companies in India like TCS Wipro Infosys Tech Mahendra Oracle Syntel Microsoft etc. You should have scored a minimum of 60% of marks in all your academic levels in order to apply for job opportunities in these companies. Try to be good enough in this. Have good preparation for the entrance exam and perform well and get admission for MCA course in top college. Wish you all the best. |

Msc I.T, MCA or MBA I.T? it will be the best for you ,....if you go for mba.....it has the largest scope..... and has greatest demand...... it will be easy for you as you will get sufficient time to prepare for exams like cat , XAt ...etc although other courses are also good ....but as you wanted to do a good job ..... i gave you the advice for the best job..... best of luck |

Yes I think MCA is best option as MCA scopes are on a very large scale. MCA stand for Master in Computer application and it is Master degree. Alternatively you can also look for- MBA MSc BEd and other courses. OR you can look for finding a job . There are lots of jobs available in Software companies. You can try in Infosys wipro patni etc. |

MCA The reason is that since you have some technical knowledge, you will also gain business knowledge by doing MBA and having knowledge about different fields is an asset. Also package in MBA is good. MCA is 3 years long and will have same thing as B.Sc. IT. So it is last in my list. |
