HELLO FRIEND, SHORTCUT FOR MULTIPLICATION & DIVISION BY 5 <<< (i) Multiplication of a Number by 5: ----------------------------------------- Step 1 : Add a 0 at the End of the Given Number. Step 2 : Now divide it by 2. Example : ==>> 7798 x 5 Step 1 : Add 0 at the End, = 77980. Step 2 : Divide it by 2, 77980/2 = 38990. hence, 7798 x 5 = 38990. (ii) Division of a Number by 5 : ------------------------------------ Step 1 : Multiply the given Number with 2. Step 2 : Insert point at 10's place. Example : ==>> 974 / 5 Step 1 : Multiply by 2, 974 x 2 = 1948 Step 2 : Insert .(dot) at 10's place,= 194.8 hence, 974 / 5 = 194.8 ALL THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
