CAT EXAM ELIGIBILITY *To sit for this examination you need to complete your graduation in any discipline from a recognized university with not less than 50% of marks at graduation level. *There is percentage relaxation for the reserved category candidates. It is 45% in case of SC/ST and OBC candidates. *Even final year students about to sit for their final year exam or awaiting the result of their final exams can also sit for this exam. *CAT scores will be valid for two years only from the date of examination. *There is no age restriction for appearing in CAT exam which means you can give the exam whenever you want to.  |

 Yes you are eligible to pursue MBA from any institution and not just IIM because the minimum eligibility criteria to sit for any MBA entrance examination is a graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. So the subject you choose at graduation level is not much of concern here. You have the liberty to complete your graduation on any subject of your choice. Since your aim is to pursue this course from IIMs then you must be knowing it that they are the best when it comes to MBA and other management courses. To get there you need to sit for an entrance examination which is called CAT. CAT stands for Common Admission Test. This exam is conducted by the IIMs only. Its score is also accepted by several other top autonomous institutions as well. CAT Exam Eligibility Criteria:
Scheme Of Examination: Generally objective type questions comes for this exam. You will get only two and a half hours to complete the whole paper. Every answer should be carefully read and then answered because there is negative marking too. 1/4th marks will be deducted from the original score for every wrong answer you give. Questions for the exam will come from the following sections:

Yes you are definitely eligible for doing MBA from top most institues like IIM's as you hav edone your graduation.The onle ligibility for MBA from top most nstitutes like IIM'S is: >>50% IN GRADUATION >>NO MATTER WAHTEVER MIGHT BE YOUR STREAM IN STREAM >>NO AGE LIMIT >>YOU HAVE TO APPEAR FOR CAT ENTRANCE EXAM FOR ADMISSION FOR REGULAR MBA COURSES. So if have50% in your gradutaion it is more than enough.You can appear for CAT even in the final year of your graduation course. Good luck |
