SBI Clerks Exam :- Date of announcement :- 05.03.12 Last date for receipt of application :- 26.03.12 Payment of Fees :- 31.03.12 Downloading Call letters :- 12.05.12 Date of examination :- 27.05.12 To 03/06/12 SBI Clerks examination was conducted for fill the 9500 post into across the SBI Branches . 9500 out of which 8500 are Assistant & 1000 Stenographers . Eligibility Criteria :- You should have passed your intermediate(12th) od a recognized School and you must secure at least 60% aggregate marks in your examination . 55% aggregate marks for SC/ST/PWD/XS candidates OR Even those who are completed graduate degree may also eligible to apply for SBI Clerks examination . There is no minimum marks required for this examination . Your age should be between 18 years and 28 years and Upper age limits is applicable for reserved categories . Recently, State Bank of India (SBI) has conducted the written Examinations for the recruitment of Clerk/Assistant/Stenographer for their branches across the country. State Bank of India conducted this examination in two consecutive sunday's in all states. According to my sources, the result of clerical recruitment 2012 (Assisstants and stenographers) in SBI will be declared in about two months. When I asked about it a senior SBI officer said, We have sent the OMR to mumbai for evaluation. IBPS will evaluate the paper and they will send the results to concerned department of SBI and we are expecting that we will be able to publish the results in about 45 to 60 days. So, friend wait for some time more and all the best. regards..... Tash |

Re: When are the results of SBI clerk exam? State Bank Of India conducted the exam on 27th of May , 2012 and 3rd of June , 2012 for 9500 clerical posts. The exam consisted of 200 questions carrying 1 mark each , so the exam was of 200 marks . The questions were asked from : 1) General Awareness 2) English 3) Quantitative Aptitude 4) Computer & Marketing 5) Reasoning. The expected qualifying marks is 22 for each subject that is a candidate getting 110 marks out of marks will pass the exam but the expected cut-off for interview is 135-145 . State Bank of India will release the Result in 1st or 2ng week of August , 2012. So , My Dear friend , if you think that you can score more than 140 marks , then Best of Luck for you to be called for the interview. Hope , the information will help you.
