Hi dear, yea english speaking is must after B.Tech if you want to get job in MNCs. for that you should not have a good knowledge on english. just you have to know english for communication purpose. because english is a international language. now after getting job there may be employee who don't know your first language than how you will communicate with them? that is why every one should know english to join in good company. even you may have to go to abroad. then you only have one option to communicate with the people of there. that is english because you may not know the foreign language. but i am telling you you should not have to take admission in english speaking courses to speak english. as you are a B.Tech student so there is enough atmosphere in your institution to learn english. try to attend the english classes, try to speak in english with your friend and teacher, regularly read english newspaper, appear in group discussion, debet. surely you will know english after completion of your B.Tech. Thanks |

Quality matter my friend.If you have ability to do your work with perfection then no need of English.. Many back ward students does not know English but they get jobs so this is not necessary for getting jobs.. |

Well my dear friend Corporate people need professionalism and they want all the employees to be good at english, communication skills, ethics along with the subject knowledge. So they prefer this type of people to recruit.And as a engineering completed graduate, its your preliminary quality to be good at english. many companies have tie up with foreign companies and they will send the people who performed well and who are good at english and communication skills. With english you can go on Without english you are gone. So I hope you will come under first one by being good at english ALL THE BEST |

For getting job one must be needs to secure cracking percentge in education and competetive exam for achieving a reputed job. You needs to have basic and fundamental knowledge of english for qualifying the exam. When you go for an exam, english is must there but no one ask you to speak enlish in the examination but you have to know and understand the correct answers with exceptionally good vocabulary so that the checker gets impressed and stuned and provide you more marks. You will get job on the basis of your performance in the written as well as interview. Once you got a nice job then speaking english becomes little bit of necessity for you because there are some places in india where people didn't know english like in south. There are MNCs where you needs to speak enlish for conversation purpose. So do your degree and get a good job then learn the art of speaking english from a reputed english speaking coaching center and enjoy yourse |

Dear friend no doubt English is a global language and to join a good company you need english as in the company you have to talk with you senior in english therefore you would find some difficulty to get job in prestigious companies.But friend if you have good knowledge of your subject then after some experience in small company you would get job in good company very easily. Dear friend As everyone wants to see them to work under high organization like MNC or another company where you need to interact with their client they may know or not the language you know so nowadays everyone uses a common language that is English that's it.not more than that. Tip:--if you have talent definitely you will be place just with simple English speaking skills which you can improve with your effort by talking in English to whatever you know the other side will try to improve you which let you learn English..and even you are writing question in English that shows you are good enough in it. so don't panic.............and try yourself |

Dear Friend, as the days goes,the competition is increasing,if you dont wanna lagging behind you have to be fulfilled in everything knowledge & personality also. so English speaking is one of the part of increasing your personality. in campusing table,if you are not able to speak english fluently,they can understand that you have no confidence. so practice daily in front of mirror & judge yourself. And for the graduate level students like you (engineering students),you should know this language.. Therefore in a such a scenario it will become difficult for you to keep up with them. Also many companies have foreign tie ups. So dealing with those customers might become difficult for you if you do not know english. This is why companies want people who can speak good english. English not only helps you interact with people, but also develops your personality. Therefore, it will be good idea to do some english speaking course before applying for a job interview.
