Admission procedure for admission into aeronautical engineering varies from college to college.For admission to reputed institutions like iits you have to crack IIT JEE and for admission to central universities you have to crack AIEEE. For admission into IIST which is a specialised institution for space research,You have crack ISAT. There are three courses offered in undergraduate level in IIST. 1.B.Tech in avionics 2.B.Tech in aerospace engineering 3.B.Tech in earth sciences. For more information you can go to following websites 1. Www.jee.iitm.ac.in 2 www.aieee.nic.in 3 www.iist.ac.in. The various entrance exam are AIEEE, IIT JEE . The exam consist of question from subjects namely physics, chemistry and mathematics. Only way to get into the course is by getting scoring more marks in the entrance exam and based on the rank you can choose the course. Being a course of interest of many people and less seats the seats in the college gets filled up soon. In certain states admission is based on the marks secured in the higher secondary exam . So their is need for the aspirant to get more marks in the subjects mainly mathematics, physics and chemistry. Student can make application for the counselling that is held based on the cut off marks. The application is issued in the month of may few weeks before the declaration of the exam result. But for the entrance exam the aspirant need to apply few month before itself. The application is available online in the official website and also offline |

Dear pal, Aeronautical engineering is available only in few colleges but competition is more so you need to perform well in the exam either your regular higher secondary exam or the entrance exam. Re: Procedure to join Aeronautical Engineering? dear friend, To get admission in aeronautical engineering you have to appear in entrance exams like- IIT-JEE, AIEEE etc after completion of your 12th in science field maths as compulsory subject.. After qualifying in any of these exam you will be able to get admission in aeronautical engineering depending on your rank in that entrance exam. So, try to score a good rank in any of these exam, to get a good college for aeronautical engineering. All the best. |

Hi friend, You haven't provide proper details like, your 12th percentage, in which college you want to take admission,your region of interest etc. Anyway, I am providing generalized admission procedure to get admission in Aeronautical engineering. It is as follows:- -For taking admission in IITs ,you need to sit for IIT-JEE entrance , If you perform well in that, you will get admission. -If you want to take admission in Bits-pilani , then you have to appear for BITSAT-2012. -For all NITs and other good engineering institutes , you need to appear for AIEEE Exam, After the declaration of result , for all NITs , centralized counseling will be there. For other institutes , you need to refer their website and need to fill separate form. -For regional colleges (State colleges) , they will give admission based on your 12th result and their other policies.But here as you haven't mention your state , I will not be able to help you out more in this regard.
