Re: Is karnataka open university AICTE approved? Karnataka State Open University is a recognized by UGC(University grand commission) . And also recognized by University of Distance Education Council under the agies of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) (Revised notification F. No. DEC/OU/Recog./2008). But Karnataka State Open University is not approved by AICTE . |

Re: Is karnataka open university AICTE approved? Dear.. Karnataka State Open university is not Approved by ALL INDIA COUNCIL OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION. But the university is approved by University grand commission that means it is a genuine university and its certificate are as valid as other university certificate. UGC Approval is a very big thing and you should not think wrong about it as it is a authentic university. All the best |

Re: Is karnataka open university AICTE approved? Karnataka state open university( KSOU) is concerned it is UGC(University grants commission) and DEC( distance education council) both approved. But it is not approved by the AICTE (All India council of technical education). But it is one of the premier institutions in distance education. |
