I have completed my 10 nd finished my 12th but not regular college.private type.nd I score 1st class in government college karnataka.after completion of my graduation am eligible to take IAS? please guide me. thank u |

Hi, my name is Madhu H, I have done my SSLC in Bangalore and then then did my PUC in Science, Gaya Collage, Gaya from Bihar Board Patna, and then did my B.Com from Magadh University, can I take up the IAS, IPS and KAS exams. |

Re: Am I eligible to take up IAS exam after finishing 10th class and BCA from open university? i done bca in open university with 10th base. i did't completed 12th at that time. but completed after degree, it's any problem to take IAS exam ? bcz it's in 10 2 3 stream. but one thing i having 10th, 12th, & degree with open university. please pls pls ........ AnyBody suggest me PLEASE. |

Re: Am I eligible to take up IAS exam after finishing 10th class and BCA from open university? definitely, you are eligible for appear in this exam after completion of your graduate degree. you must have complete your graduation in any stream. the age limit exist for this exam 21-30 years for a general candidates.also there are 5 years relaxation for SC\ST candidates. this exam has three stages-- 1.CSAT 2.MAINS 3.INTERVIEW |

If your BCA course is a Degree course then you are eligible for this examination or else you have to complete your Degree course. Doing degree from Open University or Regular University doesn't matter at all. Any thing is eligible but it should be 3/4 years degree course. You have not provided any details regarding your 12th if you had not completed 12th or its equivalent you may not be eligible so be clear with that. As I don't know whether you have completed 12th or not it is also compulsory to complete 12th in order to believe that you have properly gone through your education. i.e., 10+2/3+3/4 this is the format. which is eligible. good luckkkkk..... |

Re: Am I eligible to take up IAS exam after finishing 10th class and BCA from open university? hi dear In 10th if you think you prepare for IAS then that is good but your way is very long till, but after 10th you go for 12th, then you go for Graduaiton. Criteria for IAS:- *Candidate pass graduation *Must be an Indian *Age-21 to 30 years 5 years relax for SC/ST candidate 3 years for OBC candidate *So prepare well and must be crack this but before you cocentrate on your study........... |
