Re: Government jobs for commerce graduates? I have done b com honours from Delhi university and B.ED from M.D.U.I have cleared C.tet exam also...BT I still can't apply for govt. Jobs...because of non eligibility criteria for elementary level..as commerce is taught in schools after 10th..is there any way out.? |

Government jobs available for 12th passed students yea there are some jobs available for which 10th or 12th pass candidates are required. but it is better to join in job at least after graduation. as you are doing BA then i think it's better to first complete your BA and then try for any good job. as you are interested in dancing then you may go for dancing as your profession. after 12th you may join in Indian army. there are various post in Indian army for different level of students. visit the website http://www.joinindianarmy.nic.in/ to get all details about the various career option in Indian army. there are few group D clerical post in different government school and in other government organization for which 12th pass candidates are eligible. generally recruitment in these organization is done through SSC or PSC. you may join in various clerical post of many private organization for which 10th or 12th pass candidates are eligible. you may try for job in Indian railway and Indian other defense sector beside Indian army like India air force, navy etc. best wishes. |

But to get government job you have to crack entrance exams taken by that department or any seperate government body like UPSC(*Union public service commission) Educational qualification for government job is any bachelors degree from any recognized university. And your age must be in between 20 years to 30 years. Government fields for which you can apply: Banking sector Defence sector UPSC Railways SSC(Staff selection committee RTC(Road Transport corporation). All the best........................ |

Re: Government jobs for commerce graduates? Hi aspirant, You have many opportunities in COMMERCE FIELD. For commerc students there are lots of jobs available in government sectors. There are various types of Jobs in public sector and being a graduate, you may apply for most of them including various examinations conducted by Union Public Service Commission, Public Service Commission of respective states, Staff Selection Commission, Public Sector Banks etc. Since you have done graduation, I can apply for Teaching Job and if you have been planning to join any government schools, you will, first of all, need to crack Teacher Eligibility Test conducted on state and central level by National Council for Teachers Education. To be eligible for the exam, you must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in your graduation. Qualifying this test has become mandatory to apply for teaching position in any government school offering primary and elementary education. Apart from this you can apply for various other jobs : CA ( Chartered Accountant) is the best post for the commerce students you can get these jobs through the entrance exam.. Commerce officer of the Human resource management. Civil services like IAS ,IPS etc in which you can apply for the job posts Financial Accountant job post Accountant manager Government news reporter jobs Economics Editor Cost and management accountant BAnk jobs as financial job , Po, Operation manager , Accountant manager etc through the exam under the own banks and the IBPS exam. Stock broker and investment analysis Tally course field’s jobs so under the commerce fields you can apply for the followings job post under the government departments. For the job posts in which you want to apply you have to do the preparation according to the syllabus and the exam pattern. Best of Luck… |

Re: Government jobs for commerce graduates? hi friend, for commerce students there are lots of opportunities,i just listed below you choose it and go for it. * friend for entering into the government jobs, you need to prepare and write exams. *you need to keep preparing in aptitude and current affairs . *you should also good in your subject knowledge and your school syllabus(from 6th to 10th). *you should also be good in communication skills and body language. *you should also to be strong by mentally and physically. If you are good in these activities, then surely you will be eligible for following jobs. *staff selection &commission exam *TNPSC (GROUP 1,2,3,4) *obc bank exam *upsc exam(IAS,IPS,IFS...) *cil *insurance *teaching and professional exam(professor,lecturer) all the best |
