I have got 68% in aggregate Dear Hans, ISEET (India Science Engineering Eligibility Test) is the new pattern of Engineering Entrance Exam that will be conducted from next year 2013. It will replace IIT-JEE, AIEEE and some state engineering entrance exams.  ISEET will be divided into two stages: IIT-Mains Exam and IIT-Advanced Exam. For IIT-Mains, all the students who have secured at least 60% marks or above in their 10+2, will be eligible to appear in this exam. IIT-Mains exam will be conducted for admission to UG courses in AIEEE colleges. For IIT-Advanced, all the students who are in Top 20 Percentile of their Boards will be eligible to appear in this exam. IIT-Advanced exam will be commenced for admission to IITs. However, 40% marks of 10+2 will also be included in ISEET. Since, you had secured 68% marks in aggregate. So, you are eligible to appear in IIT-Mains but not in IIT-Advanced Exam. |
