After B tech there are many Govt jobs available for CSE students also. But in general for Mechanical / Electrical they post separately ans for Computer Science they post separate notifications usually not compulsory. You have to crack GATE Examination for getting into Public service Units PSU's. Some of the organizations with GATE merit selection are: BHEL BEL NTPC GAIL HPCL ECIL Some other organizations which having their own examination for recruitment are: ISRO DRDL/DRDO ONGC RAILWAYS DEFENCE SERVICES: ARMY/NAVY/IAF Other Scientific organizations like: Through JEST or GATE or Online examination conducted by BARC. BARC HBNI IIA IIT/IISc etc. All the Best!! |

Re: Any government jobs for computer science branch students? heloo friend, CSE or Computer science and engineering is a technical field involving use of computers and its parts and hence,it is considered to be the technical field under engineering course. There are a number of job opportunities under CSE field in many of the government as well private areas or say the technical areas which are unlimited in count. There are different sub-gropus or sub areas too present under CSE field in which you may get job opportunity under different fields as : --hardware --system development --software development --information technology --web design etc. A cse engineer must have proper knowledge of these programming languages and other stuffs which is as follows : C c++ JAVA ORACLE SQL PHP WEB DESIGN DOTNET J2EE SCJP etc. Govenment jobs : BSNL MTNL ISRO DRDO NTPC ONGC IAS IPS IFS INDIAN ARMY INDIAN NAVAL INDIAN AIR FORCE ISRO DRDO BANKING RAILWAYS TEACHING POSTAL MUNICIPAL CORPORATION ETc. good luck !! |

Re: Any government jobs for computer science branch students? Yes you have many job options after B.Tech in CSE. You can apply for the bank jobs. You can apply for positions such a PO, Clerk etc. You can also apply for the PSU exams. If you qualify in the PSU exam, you have opportunity to work in many government companies such as NTPC, SAIL, BHEL etc. You can also attend the various UPSC and SSC exams. |
