Sir,cpt is the entrance exam for the chartered accountant. The exam has testing the four subjects mechantile law,general economics, accountancy,quantitative aptitude. The exam is conducted twice a year. The eligibility requirement for the exam is pass in the 10+2 exam. Graduate after passing b.comcan also apply.

There is no Minimum Percentage of marks require for CPT Examination . Only the candidate who passed in 12th standard may eligible to apply for this Examination . So, Please Don't worry you may eligible to apply for this CPT Examination After Completing 12th standard .

Important :- The candidate should not fail in Single subject then Only the candidate Eligible for CPT Examination .

CPT stands for Common proficiency Test and this Examination is Organized by The Indian institution of Chartered Accountant of India .

Eligibility Criteria :-
--------------------------

>>> You should Complete 12th standard in standard in any discipline from recognized University . Pass Mark is enough to apply for this Examination .

>>> The candidate who waiting for the 12th board Examination may also eligible

Chartered Accountant Common Proficiency Test which is also known as CA CPT Exam is conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for admitting students to Chartered Accountancy course. The test is an entry level exam. The institute conducts Chartered Accountant Common Proficiency Test ( CA CPT ) four times a year, at various cities across India.

It is open only to those students who are already registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for the said course and fulfill therequisite eligibility conditions. The required eligibility criteria¡¯s are as follows:

*. Passed Std. X examination or equivalent can join CPT after registration with the Board of Studies & can appear after appearance at Std. XII.

*. Candidates, who have passed B.Com, M.Com, LLB, ICWA, CS orMBA at the first attempt, are also eligible to apply.

*. The candidates, who have appeared or appearing in final year of the qualifying examination, are also eligible to apply.

No Percentage Required for CA-CPT

If you complete your 12th standard you can eligible for registered in CA - CPT

CPT - Common Proficiency Test this exam is entrance for CA

Educational Qualifications for CA-CPT : -

** Candidate must have a 12th standard in any stream from a recognised university

** No Age limit for this examination

CA-CPT have 2 attempts in one year : -

once in June

and

another in December

Don't worry you are eligible for CPT because there is no any percentage limit.

Eligibility:

- A candidate should have completed their 12th from recognise board.

- Age limit should not exist 25 years.
There is a relaxation in upper age for obc and sc/st category.

There is no specific percentage require in 12th to appear in CPT exam.All you have to do is you must have passed your 12th class so that you will be eligible for CPT.It is held twice a year:in june,in december.
There is no restriction on the number of attempts of CPT.
minimum marks required to pass CPT are 50% or more.

I am a girl doing second year diploma in ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING in V.J.T.I.,Matunga, Mumbai.I have passed with distinction in first year.Can I get any scholarship of at-least 15000 or more or less? I really really need it.If I can then please provide all the details to me.Please help me.Hoping for a quick reply.
