Am i eligible for this? hi friend,  CID stands for Criminal Investigation Department for Applying CID you have Crack the Entrance exam of Civil Service Exam. Qualification for CID: => A candidate Should have completed their Graduation in Any Stream with at least 55% from Recognize Universities. => Age Limit should Not exist 25 years for General Category. there is a relaxation is available for SC/ST category up to upper Age + 5 years. Selection Process: => Written Test => Interview => Physical Fitness test All the best |

CID Officer Eligibility Criteria:- =>You need to be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university. =>Your age should be between 20-27 years. Several Posts you can get based on your experience:- >>Detective Inspector >>Detective Constable >>Detective Chief Inspector >>Detective Sergeant >>Detective Superintendent >>Detective Chief Superintendent Selection procedure includes:- I. Written exam II. Personal Interview Then you have to work as a trainee and then you will be known as the Trainee Detective Constable. With time if you are able to impress with your performance then there will be a promotion in any one of the posts mentioned above. Am i eligible for this? hi,  ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CID EXAM To join CID you need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC board every year. Those candidate are graduate from any recognized university with any discipline are eligible for CID exam.(Criminology) But your age should be in between 20 to 27 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule. The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years. Also you must be in citizen in India. The selection process is contain in two stage In first stage written test:- 1)General question ---------- 200marks 2)English -------------------200 marks In second stage you can faced an interview which is contain 100 marks. a. Part I - Written Examination carrying: 400 marks i. General Test ii. General Intelligence and Reasoning iii. General Awareness iv. Numerical Ability b. Part II - Personality Test (Interview): 100 marks. i. English Language ii. Language Comprehension iii. Communication / Writing iv. Crime Investigation Department (CID) which is sometimes referred as Crime Brach is a wing of several state police forces in India. CID is given cases that requires technical expertise, or complicated murder cases. This department is often given cases that are related to several districts or even sometimes several states in India. Everyone who is interested in becoming CID officer need to appear in UPSC Indian Civil Services Examination in three level: IPS cadre State Public Service Commissions District Police Headquarters There are other eligibility to appear in the qualification exam You should be Indian National Graduate degree in any course from recognized university in India for a officer level post. You should secure at least 60 per cent marks in the graduate degree. Candidates who have only completed 12th class are also eligible for post of constable in CID. The age limit for General category students is between 21 to 25 21 to 30 is the age limit for SC/ST and OBC candidates. The selection process is Written Test Interview Physical Fitness test |
