Re: Marks required to crack IIT and AIEEE? Dear Aspirant, A candidate can qualify IIT-JEE and AIEEE exam only if he/she get marks above than the cut off list. In the year 2012, cut off marks of IIT-JEE is 187 (General category). while of AIEEE it is yet to be declared. |

Re: Marks required to crack IIT and AIEEE? FRIEND, IIT-JEE AND AIEEE both are good entrance exams for engineering and offers lucrative placement opportunities before the young minds. AIEEE is conducted every year by CBSE and IIT is organised jointly by all the IIT'S every year. CUT-OFF FOR AIEEE IN 2008:- GENERAL=109 and maximum marks were 315. CUT OFF FOR AIEEE IN 2009:- GENERAL=100 OBC=78 SC/ST/PH=44; max. marks=432 CUT OFF FOR AIEEE IN 2010:- GENERAL=55 OBC=33 SC/ST/PH=20; max. marks=432. but you should obtain more than 200 marks to enter into good NIT's. CUT OFF for IIT in 2010 :- general=around 190. CUT OFF for IIt in 2009:- general=178 marks GOOD LUCK. |

Minimum Qualification : The candidate should completed their 12th with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics. The candidate should have a minimum 50% Marks In 12th Level. Those who are Appearing in the 12th Examination May also eligible to Apply. Minimum the candidate can attempts three times in Consecutive years. The upper Age limit is Relaxed by 5 yrs i.e SC/ST/PH Category. IIT JEE i.e Indian Institute of Technology(IIT)Conducts Joint Entrance Examination. Minimum Qualifications : The candidate must have their 12th From a Recognized Central/State Board. The candidate must secure at least 60% Marks In 12th level. The candidate can attempt Jee Only,twice in a Consecutive years. That means one should attempted Jee for the first time in 2011 Or Will be Appearing 2012. Re: Marks required to crack IIT and AIEEE? hello dear they don't see the marks they see the over all persons below some rank level. every year the cut off marks are chaning. because its totally depends on the paper and people appearing and scoring good marks. in my time out of 315 it was around 108 was the cut off and it has increased as i heard. and about IIT, its confidential people only predicts that this must be the cut off blah blah. in my time rumors are 180 marks. good luck prepare well thank you |

Dear friend, In IIT-JEE and AIEEE the cutoffs are different..But on just clearing cutoffs u dont get admission in iits or nits. for 2011 the cutoff of iit-jee was 229 for general 207 for obc 119 for SC 115 for ST and PD getting this much mark will just make u grab a rank but u require 10 or 15 more marks to get an iit. similarly for aieee 2011 to be eligible for counseling general students required 48 marks but at least 200 marks is required to get an NIT. thank you |

Re: Marks required to crack IIT and AIEEE? it is unpredictable about cut off marks for different engineering entrance examination. b\obviously the cut off marks for IIT JEE and AIEEE is different as this two examination are different. the cut off marks vary each year for both the examination. |
