Candidate must be graduate in any stream from recognized university with minimum 60% marks for general category and for other (50-55)%. 2. Age Limit: 21-30 years so, you have to become graduate before applying for this job. |

The exam for this post is conducted by UPSC once every year. Eligibility Criteria: 1. Candidate must be graduate in any stream from recognized university with minimum 60% marks for general category and for other (50-55)%. 2. Age Limit: 21-30 years Age Relaxation: For OBC: 3 years For SCs/STs: 5 years No. of Attempts: For General: 4 For OBC: 7 For SCs/STs: Unlimited Wish you all the very best. |

Re: What shall I do to apply for IPS Exam? I am 35Years as on today - can i apply for the IPS - please suggest. It was my dream to become an IPS officer - but never tried before - first time i am trying for this. Please suggest on priority |

Re: What shall I do to apply for IPS Exam? First and foremost, you need to attend the Civil services exam for joining the IPS post. This exam is conducted by the UPSC. You need to be a minimum graduate to attend this exam. You need to be at least 21 years to attend this exam. The maximum age limit is about 30 years. There is age relaxation in case of the age limits for the reserved categories. If you get qualified in the written exam, you can get in to this post provided you clear the interview and medical round. |

You need to be between 21 – 30 years. At first you need to clear the CSAT and if you clear it you will called for the mains. Thereafter you need to clear the interview round. |
