Re: How to prepare for Bank Exams?

Generally,in bank examinations there are some important sections of which you have to qualify each section separately.

Many of the bank exams have some general sections like:

General Knowledge,

General Aptitude(Logical Reasoning,Analytical ,Insufficient data analysis etc)

General Science,

General Awareness,

General Marketing(Financial,Accounting etc) Knowledge

General Computer Knowledge.

To crack those sections according to me:
1:study the daily newspaper.

2:solve more and more problems from various aptitude test books like R.S.Agarwal,Barron's etc.

3:Try to discover more and more new own tricks by which you can easily solve any problem in a less time .

4:You can go for self tests.

5:study your general science subjects Physics,Mathematics properly.

Re: How to prepare for Bank Exams?

You did not told that what is your qualification.Remember that if you are graduate then you are allowed to give both PO and CLERK.But in case you are not graduate then you can only give CLERK examination.

Educational Qualification :10 th and 12th with 60% both.

Age Limit :The age of the candidate should be in between 18 to 28 years.

Pattern :
Section 1 : There will be 5 types of questions.

=> Reasoning
=> General English
=> Quantitative Aptitude
=> General Awareness
=> Basic Computer Knowledge

Section 2 : This section will contain Descriptive type question.

Re: How to prepare for Bank Exams?

knowledge of basic level mathematics is important for attempting not only the bank exams but for any other competitive examinations. Since you had taken commerce stream it will not be a hindrance in applying to the various exams as you may have studied maths till the 10th class level. This knowledge is only sufficient for trying the bank exams.

major requirements for attempting the bank exams are as follows –

The candidate should be a graduate in any discipline with at least 55 % of marks in the qualifying examination. The candidates should have taken the degree from any recognized university or college. The age limit will be different for various nationalized banks. And there will be age relaxation for reserved categories too.

The pattern of the exam may include –

* Logical Reasoning
* Arithmetic Ability
* General Awareness
* Communicative English
* Computer Awareness

the above arithmetical ability questions will be generally based on which we have done during the school level. The questions which involve complicated calculations will not be included. Hence even without knowledge of mathematics at the college one can attempt it through careful practice in that section. There fore a Commerce graduate can also attempt the bank exams with full confidence and practice in weak areas.

As you are preparing for bank P.O. exam you need to prepare for these

to clear your written exams followed by an interview.

you can collect previous years question papers or model papers , solve them without looking at answer to evaluate yourself. Find out your weakness then you can get a clear idea which parts you need to work on & where you are good you need to make it more strong.
