Master of Business Administration(MBA)

These are some enterence exam of MBA:

CAT: Common Admission Test
SNAP: Symbiosis National Aptitude Test
XAT: XLRI Admission Test
IBSAT: ICFAI business school admission Test

SNAP-- this test will be 180 marks which included four section general english,quantitative ability and data interpretation and data suficiancy, general awearness and anylitical and logical reasoining.negative marking for 1 question is 0.25.

XAT-- this exam will be 8th january 2012. this exam included three section, verbel and logical ability,quantitative ability and decision making and analytical reasoining and decision making. duration of exam is 2 hours.

IBSAT--this exam will be 24th december 2011. in this paper 125 quations are.
which divided in four section . english,reading comprehention, quantitative ability and data suficiancy and data interpretation.

There are a No: of entrance exams conducted by the colleges for the admission to MBA courses.Some of the them are known as CAT/ MAT/ GMAT / XAT etc.

The eligibility criteria for the same is as under-

1. You must be a graduate with at least 50% marks.

2. Final year graduate candidates are also apply for these entrance examination.

CAT -
It is known as Common Admission Test.It is all-India national level test conducted by IIMs (Indian Institutes of Management) as entrance exam for admission to management programmes. Based on CAT percentile score, candidates are called for next stage of selection rejection process which usually consists of Group Discussion, Essay and Personal Interview (GDPI). CAT is multiple-choice based test with penalties for wrong answers.

MAT -
Management Aptitude Test is an aptitude test and is conducted by Centre for Management Services, which is a specialized division of AIMA (All India Management Association). MAT is usually conducted 4 times in a year in January, May, September and December.

various entrance exams are conducted for admitting the aspirants to the masters degree in business administration. Masters degree in business administration is a two year course . The entrance exam are conducted both at national and state level. They are CAT, MAT, GMAT, TANCET, etc. The eligibility for appearing in the entrance exam is completing bachelor degree from a recognised university. The aspirant should have secured 50% in the degree course. Final year aspirant are also eligible for the exam.
CAT and MAT are national level entrance exam for admitting the aspirant to the various colleges in India. CAT is conducted once in a year whereas MAT is conducted 4 times a year. TANCET is a state level entrance exam for admitting to the vacancy available in various colleges within the state. So aspirant can apply for both the national and state level exam if they wish.
