The required qualification for it is :

* The candidates hold graduation degree from rcognized university.

* Age limit :
1.for general 21-30 yrs
2.for obc 21-33 yrs
3.for sc/st 21-35 yrs

And for your info there is no %age required for the exam but just you have passed your graduation.

And for applying for it you can do it on www.upsconline.nic.in and it can be done after the upsc issues notification.

The educational qualification required for IAS is as such: candidates have to pass their graduation in any stream from a recognized university.

Percentile of graduation is not mentioned in the eligibility criteria. Age of the candidate must be between 21-30 years.

Normally notifications are published in leading News Papers and employment news during December every year.

the education qualification required for ias exam is a gradution pass degree from a recognized university. It does not matters whether it is from regular classes or distance learning course.

As mbc is a graduation degree so you are eligible for sitting in ias exam

For IAS,you need to have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university.Also your age should be between 21-30yrs.Percentage does not matter.

You can get the application form from the post offices by cash payment of Rs 20/-.

Hi friend,
You need graduation in any field from a recognized university for IAS exams which are conducted by UPSC every year.
I think,There is not any percentage criteria for IAS exams........

Eligibility Criteria for IAS :

Age limit:21 years must be completed on 1st August of the year, which a candidate is appearing. Maximum 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs .
Educational Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree of a recognized university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
Number of Attempts:
Four attempts for open, seven for OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs. If a person appears in the Preliminary Examination or even one paper is counted as an attempt.

The IAS is one of the most prestigious jobs available in the Indian government service. As to submit an application for IAS, a candidate needs to be a graduate. Another basic requirement is to meet the age criterion which is below 30 years at the time of exam. The forms are available in major post office all over the country. This IAS is being conducted by the UPSC.
As per the eligibiltiy
1.You should be of an Indian
2.You need to have an age of 21-30years
3.For st/sc candidates there is a upper age relaxation upto 5 years
4.As pere academic details, you must have to complete your graduation with a minimum of 55% of marks.
5.Remember that general category people can apply for maximum of a 3times
and for obc its 7 times where as sc/st its unlimited

you can join for IPS exam as any Graduate from a recognised university or a college in India is the minimum eligibility criteria for IPS.
He/She should be 21years to 30 yrs of age at the time of appearing in the UPSC held Civil Services Examination.

UPSC conduct CIVILSERVICE exam for top service like IAS,IPS,IFS and for other government jobs.Even this onwards the pattern of exam also changed as it doesnot have any special subject and the paper will be same for all the candidates.

UPSC conducts the INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE examination every year. This time the notification is likely to be declare on 19/2/2011. The minimum qualification required is the graduation in any stream from a recognised institution or university of india. One needs very hard study to crack this exam. I think coaching is necessary for this examination if one really wants to achieve brilliant success. One can also choose the subjects for IAS exam to whom he likes or thinks easy subjects for himself. Dear, the exam syllabus is changed this time, that's why i have attached a file of new syllabus below, please check it and prepare according to syllabus.

for IAS you must be graduate in any branch. if you have completed your graduation then you are eligible for IAS.

there are no minimum marks criterion for IAS. if you passed out graduation from a recognized institution then you may appear in IAS examination.

but competition is very high. so it is very difficult to become an IAS officer with a less percentage. but all should try.

Whereas scheduled caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates: No restriction and other Backward Classes can apply for the seven attempts.
