Re: Required Percentage of Marks in BA course to join B.Ed? Hai, In order to apply for any examination we should check the details whether we're eligible or not. Candidates who have completed their graduation from any of the recognized university are applicable for B.Ed course.Candidate's graduation marks must be above 50% . Although for SC/ST candidates this marks is decreased to above 45%. Best of Luck........... |

B.Ed which stands for Bachelor in Education is graduation degree for the candidates who wish to become teacher in government as well private schools. These days it is important to have B.Ed degree in order to become primary and high school teacher in India. After completing B.Ed degree you also have the option to appear for CTET entrance exam which would given you job in several schools managed by the central government. Here are the eligibility criteria for B.Ed Course. 1. You must have graduation degree in any stream for admission in B.Ed. 2. You must score at least 50 percent marks in graduation course. 3. OBC candidates need 45 percent marks. 4. SC/ST requires 40 percent marks. 5. Your educational pattern should be 10+2+3. 6. Several universities conduct entrance exams for admission in B.Ed. These entrance exams include General Awareness Test Teaching Potential Test General Mental Ability Test Language Proficiency Test Language Proficiency Test: English and/or Hindi Top B.Ed Universities in India Indira Gandhi National Open University Kakatiya University School of Distance Learning & Continuing Education Jamia Millia Islamia Centre for Distance and Open Learning Lady Irwin College, Delhi D.M.College of Teacher Education, Imphal A.G.
