Re: Latest pattern of NET exam for the subject of education session? Any post graduate can apply for this test. This is provided they have pursued this course from a recognised institute. Also they need to select the stream based on the area of specialisation in post graduation. So in your case you need to select the optional subject as literature. You can appear for this test since you are in the final year. It is not compulsory to take this exam to join for the PH.d course. You will need to appear for the entrance exam based on the institute you plan to join. By clearing the NET exam you can find a job as a lecturer in any of the colleges. |

Application Procedure for NET Exam: --------------------------------------- -You have to apply online before the specific date announced by UGC through this link- http://ugcnetonline.in/. -Two print-outs of filled in online application form,exam attendance slip and admission card at the respective centers (with fee receipt and category certificates) & documents are required for applying to this exam. -FEE will be of 450rs/- for General and 110 rs/- for SC/ST.
