There are lots of universities which are giving the distance education course and there demand of the MBA course is very high in the every sector. The fee of that universities lies in between Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 20,000 per semester. So without any problem you can do these types of courses. The MBA distance universities are- 1. IGNOU 2. SMU 3. Delhi University 4. Kurukshetra University 5. GJU University 6. MDU University 7. University of Rajasthan 8. Amity University 9. IIPM University 10. Anna University |

I would suggest against doing MBA if you are already doing Company Secretary course for the simple reason that both courses are different from each other and would add no value together. What I mean is that if you apply for CS post then the MBA degree would be useless similarly CS degree would prove useless if you applied for the jobs related to the Master in Business Administration. You see CS is more of a technical course which is related to the accounting while MBA on the other hand is a management course that would deal in Sales & Marketing, Finance, Human Resources etc. As you can see, both courses are far different from each other therefore there is no point of pursuing both of them. My opinion is to stick with Company Secretary and after completing the course, find the job relevant to the field instead of going after MBA. Company Secretary is a prestigious at the same time a very well paid job in India. The 1980 Company Secretaries Act makes it mandatory in India for a company with total 50 lakh of capital to appoint CS. The role of the Company Secretary is very important for a organization therefore I would strongly recommend you to pursue career as a Company Secretary. CS is a very senior level managerial post that exist in private as well the Public Sector Undertaking company. The role of the Company Secretary is to provide advice to the board of directors on various issues related to the legal, tax, corporate, secretarial and administrative. The job of CS is also to ensure that company is following all the rules and regulations set by the central or state governments in India. He also ensures smooth implementation of decisions taken by the board of the company. He also acts like a mediator between board of directors and the stakeholders, company and the government or the regulatory authorities. As you can see how important is the role of Company Secretary. This is the reason why this job is well paid. The Company Secretary can easily be promoted and become Managing Director or board of directors member if required by the company. Now hopefully you would understand why I would recommend against doing MBA course. |

You have completed B.com and also doing Company Secretary course. As you have completed B.com, you become eligible for MBA Course . How to do MBA distance learning after doing company secretary course? What is the fee structure? I have completed my b.com this year,and also doing company secretary course(professional) and wanted to do MBA (distance learning) so what would be the fee structure for that and which field would suit me best? |
