To become engineer (civil engineer) , first of all you need to be 12th passed with marks above 50% .

There are lot of engineering colleges all over india. After 12th , there are entrance exam to get admission in engineering colleges.

Syallbus for entrance exam based on 12th syallabus, with 3 subjects namely physics, chemistry, maths.


1. IIT colleges are top most colleges in india. Entrance Exam -IIT-JEE.

3. NIT colleges are national institute of technology . Entrance Exam- AIEEE

2. Every State in india have there common entrance test for engineering ,like in maharashtra there is MH-CET.

3. BITS, Pilani , have there own entrance exam Entrance Exam- BITSAT.

Eligibility For B.Tech in Civil Engineering


  • 10+2 from recognized board.
  • Physics and Maths in your Class 12th.
  • 50% to 60% marks in class 12th.

you need to apply in one of above written exams and scoring well is prerequisite.

After scoring well you will be able to get the admission in good colleges offering this course.

if you want to become a civil enginer

then i will tell you that
1 for diploma in civil enginer you have to clear polytechnic entrace test

Eligibility for Admissiona. Engineering diploma courses: Pass in sslc / 10th standard/equivalent exam with 35% marks in Science & 35% marks in mathematics.
2 for degree in civil enginering you have to give entrance exam of aieee
and you get admission in that branch according to your ranking base
for more information about aieee i have attached a ms word file named with aieee.....
